On March 5, a delegation from Abag Banner, Inner Mongolia, led by Banner Head Nashun Batu, visited Haitai Solar in Tangshan. The delegation also included Dou Yanyao, Vice Banner Head of Abag Banner, and Duan Yongli, Director of the Commerce Bureau of Abag Banner.They were received by Wang Yong, Chairman of Haitai Solar, along with Meng Yong, Vice President, Bai Tianming, General Manager of the Hydrogen Energy Division, and Zhang Liang, General Manager of the Inner Mongolia Branch. The two sides held discussions on the development of the green hydrogen value chain and the construction of long-distance hydrogen pipelines.
During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on the latest technologies in the hydrogen energy sector. Representatives from Haitai Solar introduced the company’s recent progress and strategic plans in hydrogen energy. The two sides also discussed the industrial conditions in Inner Mongolia and agreed that the region has strong advantages in renewable energy resources and location, providing a solid foundation for the development of the green hydrogen industry and promising prospects for future growth.
During the visit, the two sides signed an agreement to cooperate on a 10GW wind-solar hydrogen project. Building on this partnership, both parties will work together to advance the project and promote its early construction and operation, while jointly fostering a competitive industrial ecosystem.
Looking ahead, Haitai Solar will continue to support China’s carbon peak and carbon neutrality goals, strengthen cooperation with partners, and leverage its expertise to develop safe and green projects that contribute to the high-quality development of the hydrogen energy industry in Inner Mongolia.
