On June 2nd, Bloomberg New Energy Finance (BNEF), a globally authoritative research institution, officially released the Global Tier 1 Photovoltaic Module Manufacturers List for the second quarter of 2025, with Haitai Solar once again on the list.
In the second quarter of 2025, BNEF significantly revamped its Tier 1 selection criteria, raising the entry threshold substantially: the minimum project size increased from 5MW to 10MW, and at least six valid projects per quarter are now required. Additionally, companies awarded the Kiwa PVEL “Top Performer” title are marked accordingly on the list. Haitai Solar, with its highly efficient and reliable products and strong global delivery capabilities, has once again been included in the Tier 1 list and received this special designation. The upgraded evaluation standards represent more than just numerical changes—they pose a deeper challenge for PV companies, testing the entire process from technological R&D and manufacturing to project implementation and after-sales services. Haitai Solar’s module products meet the key requirements in terms of conversion efficiency, weather resistance, and degradation performance. Its products are widely deployed across multiple countries and regions worldwide, achieving large-scale applications in diverse scenarios, including commercial and industrial rooftops, residential PV systems, large-scale ground-mounted power plants, as well as fishery-solar and agro-solar hybrid projects.
Looking ahead, Haitai Solar will continue to expand its global presence, increase R&D investment in the photovoltaic sector, and promote the application of its products in more scenarios, injecting continuous innovation into the global energy transition.
