On January 9, Shougang Jingtang United Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. (referred to as “Shougang Jingtang”) and Tangshan Haitai Solar Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as “Haitai Solar”) held a strategic cooperation signing ceremony at Haitai Solar’s headquarters. The two enterprises will join forces to explore new areas in the hydrogen energy industry.
During the meeting, both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on the application prospects of hydrogen and gained a comprehensive understanding of Shougang Group’s overall plans and technological roadmap in hydrogen metallurgy. The goal is to steadily enhance the application level of hydrogen metallurgy. Through this cooperation, the two companies aim to jointly promote innovation and upgrades in hydrogen pipeline technology, providing strong support for the sustainable development of the hydrogen energy sector.
Following the discussion, in the presence of company executives, Mr. Zheng Yankun, Director of Manufacturing at Shougang Jingtang, and Mr. Bai Tianming, General Manager of the Hydrogen Energy Division at Haitai Solar, signed the strategic cooperation agreement. Both parties stated their commitment to intensifying research on steel for hydrogen pipelines, jointly tackling key technical challenges, and mutually participating in the development and testing platforms for hydrogen pipeline technology. In alignment with the requirements of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the two companies will actively promote innovation and application of hydrogen technologies.
