Currently, renewable energy generation in the Netherlands has increased to 32.25 billion kWh, but the grid cannot absorb the surplus green power, resulting in TWh-level energy waste. Against this backdrop, Haitai Solar has provided large-scale energy storage cabinets for the Dutch power market, recently achieving successful grid connection to help optimize the country’s energy structure.

The battery energy storage project adopts liquid-cooled lithium iron phosphate batteries, consisting of two 3.42MWh liquid-cooled containerized storage systems paired with a 1.725MW high-efficiency power conversion system (PCS). The system is also connected to a local power trading company to participate in market transactions.

In addition to delivering an integrated energy storage solution that meets European technical standards, Haitai Solar provides full life-cycle technical support. From system commissioning to grid connection, the technical team completed in just 15 days the on-site workload initially expected to take two months, demonstrating Haitai Solar’s rapid response and strong execution capabilities. After grid connection, the team also offered on-site training and certification, ensuring the customer could independently handle commissioning and daily maintenance.

After one month of trial operation, the project achieved an actual charge-discharge conversion efficiency of 87.1%, significantly improving revenue and earning high customer recognition. Haitai Solar’s after-sales team continues to monitor the system’s operation, ensuring long-term technical support throughout its life cycle.

Looking ahead, Haitai Solar will further expand its presence in the European energy storage market, leveraging its strengths in system integration and project delivery to promote a more efficient and sustainable energy system in the Netherlands and across Europe, fulfilling its mission of “Making Sunshine More Valuable.”
