Recently, the safety review meeting for the Kangbao–Caofeidian hydrogen long-distance pipeline project was successfully held. Attendees included leaders from relevant government departments, Wang Yong, Chairman of Tangshan Haitai New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., Bai Tianming, General Manager of Zhangjiakou Haitai Hydrogen Energy Technology Co., Ltd., Yu-Feng Cheng, Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Engineering and Sciences, Zhang Wenwei, a nationally recognized master in engineering survey and design, and other experts.

During the meeting, the expert panel focused on key aspects of the pipeline, including design pressure, material selection, valve station layout, shut-off systems, and control methods. After thorough evaluation, the experts unanimously concluded that the project’s technical approach is mature and reliable, with a comprehensive safety and risk prevention system in place, making it ready for implementation. Once operational, the pipeline will adopt a management model featuring “centralized monitoring, integrated inspections, centralized maintenance, and unified emergency command,” enabling intelligent scheduling and efficient operation.
The construction of the Kangbao–Caofeidian hydrogen pipeline will play a crucial role in supporting coordinated energy development across the Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei region. Looking ahead, Haitai Solar will continue to leverage its comprehensive strengths in the new energy sector, actively advance project implementation, and contribute to the development of hydrogen energy infrastructure.
