Recently, the 10th China Energy Development and Innovation Conference was grandly held in Beijing. Haitai Solar’s Brandewaal Solar Power Plant project in the Netherlands was successfully selected as a "14th Five-Year Plan" Energy Innovation Case for its innovative practices and outstanding performance. 1.png The Brandewaal Solar Power Plant covers an area of 200,000 square meters and is one of the most important projects under the local Regional Energy Strategy (RES). The project is designed not only to focus on efficient renewable power generation, energy storage, and regional green electricity supply, but also to integrate the concept of multifunctional land use, achieving an organic combination of agriculture, animal husbandry, and renewable energy development. Adopting an innovative "PV+" model, the project features crop and fruit cultivation as well as sheep grazing under the solar modules, while producing 100% pure green hydrogen through solar power. This serves as a demonstration for building a low-carbon and diversified energy system in the region.Earlier, King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands visited the under-construction Brandewaal Solar Power Plant, emphasizing the close cooperation among local and central governments, social partners, grid operators, businesses, energy cooperatives, and community residents, with the aim of reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 50% by 2030.

Looking ahead, Haitai Solar will continue to enhance the social value of clean energy, actively promote the global energy transition, and contribute to the achievement of sustainable development goals.
